Vertical drawing with resting shepherds in the foreground. One is sitting on the left, playing a wind instrument; another is resting on the ground in the opposite corner, exposing his shoulders to the viewer. A mother and a child are sitting on the ground, while two other children play together. A couple is embracing. A shepherd, a stick slung over his shoulder, is walking up a path. The landscape is divided into two by the colour of the inks: the foreground is lighter brown, and the background is darker with finer lines.
This detail and the size of the sheet allow for direct comparison with the cat. 1.03. The present drawing may refer to a simpler, Arcadia-like ideal landscape that adheres to the past, whereas the other shows a more contemporary version, with companies in richer attire and more imposing architecture in the background.
