An etched landscape print set inside a large arched rocky cavern, where a band of brigands attacks travellers: armed men brandish raised swords and clubs against figures who fall, flee, or are dragged down amid scattered baskets, barrels, and weapons on the ground. Through the cave mouth at center a bright wooded landscape opens up, with further small figures visible in the distance.
