An engraving, lettered below "Alexander Visiting the Tomb of Achilles," showing a group of classically armored and draped figures gathered in a landscape dominated by monumental funerary architecture: a tall stepped obelisk at left and a large pedestal supporting an ornate sculpted urn at right. Alexander, in plumed helmet and military dress, gestures with outstretched arms toward the tomb while attendants bearing spears stand behind and beside him.
